Last week we had a couples date night and went to Fire It Up Pottery. Rich and I picked out a dinner plate to create together, and we had a blast. I always love doing things like this, because you really get to see everyone’s different styles and creativity. I am convinced that even people who don’t think they are creative really do have an expression that is uniquely theirs, and is inherently creative. It’s so fun to see what everyone comes up with at a place like this!!!

Here, Rich and I are working together to create our dinner plate that I think I will use as a serving dish - I chose colors that match our kitchen…

Chris, diligently working on his latte mug, which turned out to look INCREDIBLE! We were impressed! I love blue and brown together, and I love polka dots, so I told Chris I’d pay him to make one for me…

I probably annoy everyone to death always talking about how amazing my husband is, but he is one multi-talented man. Let’s see…working at an Engineering firm, doing web design on the side, and knowing enough about photography to take shots like this. Seriously! It’s simultaneously inspiring and annoying!

This is a sweet friend of Chris and Jennifers, who Rich and I got to sit next to and enjoy talking to.

Craig and Kiana painted a gorgeous dinner plate with a grape themed pattern. Craig was the most involved man there! He was so focused, and clearly, a perfectionist!
