Well, it was time for a change.
My hair has been long for SO long that I can’t remember having it this short since I was a young child. I’ve loved having it long but I recently realized that I was constantly putting it up to “get it out of my way.”
It was time for short hair, I decided.
Now this may not be considered short for some people, but for me it definitely is. I’m having fun experimenting with different styles like “curled out” and “curled under” and straight and wavy (but not all at once, of course). I’m glad I chopped it and I especially like the little bitty ponytail!
How was that for a profound and meaningful blog post??? Be sure to let us know how deeply it moved you.

I’m overwhelmed with emotion. Moved beyond words. Except one–CUTE!! I really like it! Even Shawn likes it, and Ulises said it was gorgeous! Dad approves, he says. So there you have it. The fam loves it! You must feel very light headed…:)
love you, babe!
Mom
Adorable! Way to go! It takes guts.
you are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO hot!!!!!!
(I got mine cut today too
)
And Dang. Rich takes some darn good pictures… the color in that first one totally freaked me out!
loves!
so cute! I, of course, love the pictures although I was hoping to see one of the “little bitty ponytail!”
This is too funny. I just did the exact same thing, for the exact same reason, and guess what…it’s the exact same hair cut! haha. Then I went home and added bangs, so that’s where we’re different now.
Hey I was in Bath and Body the day after Christmas and thought of you.
Lace
Loooove it! It’s really cute Heath. I wish we coulda done it in Florida. My hair will no doubt be different when we come to see you in March, but you should keep yours the same. It really compliments your face and small frame! Okay, am I getting a little carried away. You’ve got the approval of two very cool young boys, friends, parents and siblings…what could be better? What does Rich think? Love you, love it, love the whole thing. Work it girl, don’t let IT work YOU
Quick thought-I need to meet all the cool people I always see on your blog. At church of course, but it would be fun to have dinner together or something.
very cute, heather joy! you know, it’s funny, because i’ve only ever known you with long hair and was trying (unsuccessfully) to envision it when i saw the blog heading, but it totally looks like you…i especially love the flippy style. yes, please include a pic of the itty bitty pony–that was rather misleading
love ya!
Heather, what a great hair cut and what guts! You are beautiful no matter how your hair is. Totally miss you and Rich! I need your email so I can send you some pictures!
Well isn’t that cute…don’t even know how to spell my own name it the above post!
So cute Heather Joy! The new year is always time for a change.
It looked better the other way…just kidding!!!
