Well, it has been a wonderful week.
Amber and Jonathan have been in town (from their home in Rapid City, South Dakota) and have just left Rich and I. They are now on their two day journey back (yes, they drove!!!), and Rich needed to go in to work for a few hours. Alas, I am a sad, sad, lonely girl.
Rather than stay home to recount the week in a blog post, I decided I would much rather come here to Panera and get a cup of coffee and some lunch to comfort myself while I type. Panera compels me sometimes. I love it here. It’s bustling during the peak hours of the day, but during the off-times it’s really peaceful. Just me and my Hazelnut Blend and a few other laptopers.
This week was Amber’s Spring Break from school at Black Hills State University, and Jonathan took leave (He’s in the Air Force) from his job for the week.
We had a fantastic time together, and it passed much too quickly. But we are so thankful for the time we had, and we are thinking that we will all (including mom, dad, and Shawnie) visit Amber and Jonathan in South Dakota for summer vacation 2007! Yay! I mean, how often does one have a chance to visit Mount Rushmore while visiting family???
On Wednesday night, we had scheduled a photo shoot for Amber and Jonathan with the incredible Matt Dunmore! We took them downtown and the men captured some HOT stuff of these two! Have I mentioned that my sister and her hubby are stunningly beautiful people? They were naturals!
Here is some of Rich’s gorgeous work!

Here is a shot that Rich grabbed of Matt in action! You can check out the photos he took of amber and jonathan here. Be sure to watch the slideshow - it’s awesome!

Then on Thursday night, we took Amber and Jonathan to the gorgeous Chickamauga Battlefield late in the day with extraordinary light! The amazing Holritz’s were with us, and we all had a blast!
Here are just a few of the images that Rich captured of the lovebirds! I LOVE what he got!

Here is the FUN Holritz family! Click here to check out their images from the session with Amber and Jonathan! They rocked the battlefield!

And here is an image that Amber (Holritz) grabbed of Rich and I. Thank you for the photo, Amber! We love it!

Here is your slideshow! Enjoy!

In addition to the photo shoots, we also spent a little down time at home. We played a fun family game, Imagine If, and we chatted about life. We watched a couple of movies and took a few pictures.

Amber and Jonathan, we love you and are so thankful for you. We can’t wait until we see you this summer! Thank you for all the memories and for finding it worthwhile to drive 20+ hours to come see us for the week!

Until next time!
