Well, it is difficult for me to supplant our most recent blog post since it was such exciting news for us to share, and it was SO MUCH FUN having all of you comment with your words of excitement and encouragement to us. Thank you! We are so blessed to have friends and family like you! We appreciated every email and every comment!
And although it is difficult for me to post a new blog and watch our pregnancy announcement take a back seat to this new post, what better way than to post about good friends and the precious new life God has blessed them with!!! I am so happy for you guys!
Avery Kyle Posey came into the world one month ago tomorrow and the crazy thing is that it is still two weeks before his due date! He is doing very well, and Kyle and Heidi are adjusting so well to the new demands of parenthood.
Rich and I had an opportunity to go to the Posey’s on Sunday afternoon for baby Avery’s first photo session! Rich wanted to do this session now since Avery is so small, being a preemie, and has continued to weigh in under 5 lbs. since he was born.
We think he rather liked having his picture taken! What he doesn’t like is being cold or having a bath!
And the self-portrait!!! We love you guys! And congratulations on a beautiful, healthy baby boy!!!

The pictures look really great Rich. My favorite is the third from the bottom. Avery holding on to mommy or daddy’s fingers. That one is awesome.

The pictures are beautiful and couldn’t fill a grandma’s heart with more joy! Isn’t he the cutest baby!

AWWWWWWWWWWWW Wonderful pics. I love your use of lots of color!! This baby is precious and you did such a great job at showing so many little details (fingers & hair, etc…don’t have a clue about the lighting you photographers worry about)!!! His parents look so blessed! I know his grandparents have to be LOVING this wonderful slide show–I did and I don’t even know them! Great work!!!

I see you didn’t post the group photo where I was mesmerizing the camera with my eyes… thats ok, I understand you don’t want me to overshadow my son. And you know, our house looks really cool in those photos.
Oh, and I ditto Heidi’s remarks (except the email part… I knew about the post before I checked my email).
Hey Rich! Great job. I was so excited when I saw the slideshow because I have been trying to find a way to make a slideshow with music. I have made slideshows before but I was wanting one that looked professional. Is that a program you have to have or can you direct me somewhere to make one of those. I want to be able to put my own music on it too. I have found some but they only allow you to put lame music on it that to me sounds like those stock ringtones that come with your phone. I’m gonna email you a slideshow also, so take a look at that, this is what I am looking for.-Thanks for all you help.

oh, what a sweet, precious baby…he’s so small! rich, you did a phenomenal job. you really captured the joy of such a tiny, new miracle….just think how poignant it will be to experience the same with yours! andy said you guys should just clip the slides at the nursery scene and submit it as a huggies commercial! heidi & kyle…it is so great to see your little family, altogether in the home that you have made…congrats again guys, and lots of love.
