Yesterday morning Rich, Alana and I had the honor of having Amber over to photograph a newborn session of baby Alana at two weeks! Below are a few of the photos she took, and be sure to click here to see a full slideshow of the session on the Holritz’s blog!
We are constantly in awe of Amber’s ability to capture moments in our lives with such ease and grace and without any manipulation whatsoever. We simply enjoy each other and Amber is there to document it all!
Little Miss Alana: content and social…except for when she is hungry or has a dirty diaper
I think she is going to have a sense of humor:
Watching a movie on my iPod…which gets me through many a late night feeding:
If only mommies got paid for the amount of baby laundry they do!
And a photo that Rich took of Amber in action:
Amber’s self-portrait with Alana:
And the three of us: We love you so much, Amber!

The pictures are wonderful! However you make me sick looking that skinny after having a baby 2 weeks ago. It looks like you have NEVER been pregnant much less two weeks ago!
These are great!! It was so good seeing you guys on Friday. Sorry I didn’t get to stay longer! Hope dinner was good!
Heather! She is so perfect. I miss you both so much and cannot wait to see you again. You look amazing! You should be proud of yourself. You ate well for yourself and the baby! We will continue to pour out our prayers…we really love praying for you guys. It is amazing how God can encourage when you are in prayer for others. I long to be with you both. 2 weeks.
I love her! I love you!
She is perfect.
I didn’t think your family could get anymore beautiful! Wow!! Praising God with you for precious Alana. Lily can’t wait to meet her new friend.
Love you,
Kristy
yes…absolutely perfect! it is so great to see her in your arms…and rich, you look like a natural too!
Heather, you are one “Haute Mama”! You look awesome! I know that you guys are just trying to make it through the day without incedents, but make sure you really stop to enjoy the small things that she gives you. Before you know it, she’ll be 2 and destroying the house and you’ll wish she would stay in one place like she does now!
