oh, wow.Â
You may remember my last blog post; I was talking about Alana learning to sit up in her crib last week, and Rich lowering it to keep her safe.
Well, the very next day, I walked in the nursery to comfort a crying Alana and this was what I found:Â

And so, for the second time in two days, Rich lowered the crib a level.
Who knew that she would sit up in her crib (for the first time) one day, and then stand (for the first time) the next? Apparently, we are on the baby mobility fast track, and I’m a little flustered!Â
Then, today, I came in the nursery to find her standing again, this time, looking for the paci that she had thrown through the crib slats. Oh, this should be a fun new game. I feel tired just thinking about it

And just minutes ago I checked on her and this was what I found:

How sad! I carefully lowered her to a laying position and hoped that she’d stay asleep. She’s such an incredibly light sleeper. It seemed to have worked, but goodness, if there is a way to get the child to nap when I put her in the crib, that would be great! I didn’t realize how easy I had it before she got to be so busy!Â

With this newfound freedom, there has been a lot going on in the crib, but not a whole lot of sleeping 
How cute is she!? Even when she’s crying, she looks at you with those eyes! Wow.
And the pic of her looking over to see her paci is priceless. And her laying with her head on the bumper. In fact, all of the photos are great! Thanks hon for documenting your days while I’m at work!
Those are great pictures and a great little story to tell her when she gets older! Now you need to make sure she won’t pull herself up on the crib bumpers and climb out :).
She is getting cuter by the minute! That last shot is my favorite - precious!
Oh my goodness. How sad is that? And cute at the same time! Wish we could have been there for all that!

Oh the fun has begun! not really…laura texted me a pic of Adaley climbing out of her bed! I remember when my first climbed out of bed…took pic then told him not to do it again! lol
I LOVE the pic of little miss busy sleeping sitting up in the corner…precious. You are a great mommy to chronicle all of this & a trememdous wife to let your hubby see while at work! You are a jewel Heather…praying for you and the fun days ahead!!!
I LOVE the ones of her with her head on the bumper. Those are awesome! She is adorable…and getting so much bigger (well, as big as she can get for being a tiny 8 month old). Thanks for the updates.
The pic of Alana asleep sitting up on the bumper is hilarious. I am sure there will be more to this story very soon. Can’t wait to see what happens next
