oh, wow.Â
You may remember my last blog post; I was talking about Alana learning to sit up in her crib last week, and Rich lowering it to keep her safe.
Well, the very next day, I walked in the nursery to comfort a crying Alana and this was what I found:Â
Oh ya, she is standing!
And so, for the second time in two days, Rich lowered the crib a level.
Who knew that she would sit up in her crib (for the first time) one day, and then stand (for the first time) the next? Apparently, we are on the baby mobility fast track, and I’m a little flustered!Â
Then, today, I came in the nursery to find her standing again, this time, looking for the paci that she had thrown through the crib slats. Oh, this should be a fun new game. I feel tired just thinking about it![]()
And just minutes ago I checked on her and this was what I found:
How sad! I carefully lowered her to a laying position and hoped that she’d stay asleep. She’s such an incredibly light sleeper. It seemed to have worked, but goodness, if there is a way to get the child to nap when I put her in the crib, that would be great! I didn’t realize how easy I had it before she got to be so busy!Â
With this newfound freedom, there has been a lot going on in the crib, but not a whole lot of sleeping![]()
