Having already been to the first one, I went along primarily just to be with Nick and Amber, and well, because I love listening to Amber present her information!
I grabbed a few shots of Amber…who is SO good at what she does!!!
A little individualized attention!
Just to prepare them for the workshop, Rich taught an intense photography 101 class for Nick and Amber the night before the workshop. They were so glad for that, because it allowed them to maximize their learning on Saturday and focus on practical knowledge of the cameras!
Amber, using one of the attendee’s cameras, spends one-on-one time assisting!
My shot of the entire room…
And now moving on to Nick’s images!
He and Amber seemed to catch on to the math and science aspects of photography very quickly. They had more than a rudimentary understanding of shutter speed, aperture, and ISO by the end of the day! Here is a self-portrait by Nick! Love the creativity!
Nick’s shot of me and Amber!
Nick’s perspective on Amber!
Sisters! Thanks, Nick!
And now moving on to Amber’s photos!
Here is one of her images of Amber Holritz presenting…
And practicing some unique angles and compositions…
Love this one she took of Nick!
Didn’t they do a great job? I am so proud of them!
Thanks so much to Amber Holritz for this image of Bonnie and myself! Bonnie and I went to High School together in South Florida in what feels like another lifetime! She and I recently reconnected on Facebook, which led her to my blog, which led her to Amber’s blog, and she signed up for the workshop as a result! I was so excited that she has a passion for photography, and it was great to see her after, gulp, a little over a decade!
Just the three of us…
Thank you again to Amber for everything!!! You are amazing!
The whole group! So nice to meet you all!
And to anyone who is still interested in attending a workshop…be sure to check Amber’s blog because there will be another one coming up this Spring! You don’t have to be a mom, or even a woman! Several men have enjoyed learning from Amber so far, and I’m sure more to come!
