Anyone who has followed my blog for two seconds knows that I have a dear friend named Kellie.
Kellie married into the wonderful Dykast family, who I had the privilege to meet and photograph this week! We met up at Heritage Park and had a blast! This family is so kind, thoughtful, and FUN! They were exactly what makes my job easy: relaxed, enthusiastic, and interactive!
Rich came along to play at the park with Alana while I photographed, but he definitely grabbed a few shots of his own and I’ve included a few of them in the post.
Here are a few of my favorite images! We started off with some relaxed group shots…

I love this one that Rich captured of the amazing blue sky and the sweet family time!

Taking advantage of the very cool distressed barn!

Beautiful light!

Yep, I was lying on the ground for this one…

Some fun posing…I love it!

I love everything about the following image: the trees, the light, the foliage, and the subjects!!!

Pretty sure I was on my stomach for this one, too…

Jason and Kellie…my dear friends. I love them.

a few moments by the bridge…

Then Rich took over for a few shots of mom and dad Dykast by themselves. Here are just a couple from the series:

Group self-portrait! I LOVE it! As per tradition, Kellie and I brought our sunglass collection along for a super fun conclusion to the photoshoot. Alana is hidden behind Rich (also wearing sunglasses!), but otherwise, I think it’s perfect! Nice job, babe!

Dykast family, it was more than a pleasure to meet you, and I am thankful for the opportunity to document just a few family memories for you! Thank you for allowing me to! Blessings!!!
