Our sister session was originally intended to be a surprise mother’s day gift to our fabulous mom back in May…but due to rain on a few occasions, scheduling conflicts, and super duper crazy heat, we were only able to finally have our session just a couple of weeks ago.
So, now I’m thinking it will be a nice early birthday present for mom, since her birthday is later this month![]()
Thank you so much to my sweet hubby who put up with the 100 degree heat in order to finally get this session done for Amber and I, who have never had professional photos of just the two of us! We love them and are excited to have this stage of our lives documented!!!
Here are a few of my favorites!

Chattanooga is such an incredibly cool city. There are so many unique buildings, old and new, that just beg to be utilized in photo shoots. Check out this amazing tree growing in this old abandoned building! Our dear friend Amber made us aware of it, and we totally wanted to shoot there!
Amber even wanted to take advantage of the ledge so I hoisted her up and thankfully she did not fall — it was a wee bit dangerous![]()

I love this super cool artistic shot!

I love the angle Rich got on this shot of Amber, and the trees framing her!

We can be serious…

But usually we’re pretty silly…

I love my sister.

I’m pretty sure she loves me too![]()

More silliness…

A quick outfit change and a few more photos! Amber brought this amazing vintage trunk along for a prop and I love the ways we were able to incorporate it!

LOVE it!

Some really fun candid sister moments…

Amber makes me laugh. Often. Especially when she does her Sid the Sloth impersonation.

Yay! Time for self-portraits!

Honey, all I can say is that you the best. And I love you very much. Thank you for these images!!!
