After wedding festivities on Sunday, Rich and I were exhausted but decided to seize the day and take Alana to play in some nearby snow. We only had a short time in Jackson Hole, so it would feel wrong to go take naps or sit inside with all of this beauty outside!
So, off we went to let Alana experience snow for the first time. Although it does snow each year here in Tennessee, it rarely “sticks” for any amount of time, so this was a first!
Enjoy our fun family snow shots! Rich started off with the camera:

Wonder, concern, and confusion!

Getting the hang of it!
I love undisturbed snow – I pretty much think that there is nothing more beautiful.

‘Lana footprints!

Then I took over for a few minutes:

Talking about the snow with dad…

Random side note for anyone who has kids and lives in cold weather: I was SO happy with these jeans I bought for Alana right before we went to Wyoming. I found them at Baby Gap, and they are fully lined with soft, warm fleece! Alana seemed to think they were ultra comfortable, and they kept her nice and warm in the freezing temps! Here they are if you are interested!

Alana’s first snowball!

Love this little one SO much!

We do loads of kisses in our family![]()

Tasting snowballs!

Love Alana’s expression here:

Fun time with daddy:

Alana started this little game in which she taps her own chin (or one of ours) and says, “Hmmmm…”

More kisses. There could never be enough.

I adore this series of photos that Rich took of us!

Yay! Thanks for coming along on our snow adventure! Part four to conclude our Wyoming trip, coming right up!
