Today Alana is two!
I could go on and on about how I can’t believe she is two years old, how fast the time has gone, etc…but since I have to clean the house, pack Rich and I for Hawaii, and leave schedules and instructions for my mom (who is graciously flying in to watch Alana for the week) I simply can’t elaborate too much for this post.
I will keep it simple and just post photos!
On Sunday afternoon we had a fun little party for Alana with family and just a couple of friends. We had a total blast, and Alana was so much fun to observe.
We catered a taco bar from Moes to keep it nice and simple for me
and I made mini cupcakes since Alana LOVES them.

Some favorite party drinks!

An M&M candy bar…

(I specifically designed this set to be RSP logo colors)![]()

The birthday girl cupcake…

Thank you SO MUCH to Amber Holritz for taking the following photos at Alana’s party. I had a horrible headache and my vertigo is back, so I was feeling awful and she totally caught the special moments for us.
Here’s Alana’s second birthday cupcake.

Opening gifts was VERY different this year, and so much fun! She is old enough to be involved in the process and to recognize and enjoy new toys!

I had snapped a few of Alana as she played outside:

Abby (from Sesame Street) has been going everywhere with Alana this week:

I always love the miniature size of toddler things…boots especially!

Her baby hair is finally starting to fill in with thicker, little girl hair – oh, goodness, she is growing up.

But I love that she still has her chubby cheeks. I kiss them constantly.

The photo on the right is Alana trying to tell me that she is two. Her fingers just won’t cooperate!

I love it when Alana knows I have the camera pointed at her but she totally ignores me. Maybe she’s annoyed, maybe she just likes to pretend she’s not interested![]()

And I will conclude with a few photos that Rich took of the two of us at a nearby park! Thank you, honey!

Happy, happy second birthday, baby!!! We love you and are so thankful for you. You amaze us, and we treasure you.
