Since Tobi and her hubby Corey could not make it to our get together earlier this week, I was antsy to see her! I was kinda going through Tobi withdrawals since I had not seen her in so long! Plus, she had two t-shirts for Alana that I’d ordered and they were all ready! So, off to Rembrandts we went to meet up with her this morning.
Now, Tobi is a person who seriously brightens a room just by being in it. She’s infectious, adorable, beautiful and talented. I really have the best friends…I’m so blessed. I love this girl so much, and enjoy her company like crazy. My only complaint about this morning is that Alana is so stinking active and busy that Tobi and I didn’t get all the listening and talking in that we would have wanted. 🙂 Such is life with a toddler.
We took a fun self portrait outside of Rembrandt’s (in which I did not know I was blocking Alana completely from the camera!), and then spent a few minutes at Tobi’s house meeting the little pups that she was babysitting until she found a home for them. They are completely adorable, and Alana loved them.
As soon as I got home, I photographed the new shirts made with love by Tobi. She owns Ivey Handcrafted (for any new blog readers), and I’ve posted a couple of blogs in the past with Alana modeling her perfect work. You may remember this blog post with a headband and t-shirt by Tobi from last March, or this blog post with photos of Alana’s RSP logo t-shirt from last June. SO cute.
Well, she’s outgrown both of those shirts, and we were ready for two more. I asked Tobi to make another logo shirt…a baby’s got to represent, you know! And for the other shirt, I asked her to surprise me. I knew it would rock, and it does. I loooove the colors she used, and I loooove that she got all adventurous and whimsical with the lettering.
And here is the Rich Smith Photography masterpiece. Love it, love it, love it. Similar to the last one, but she added some fun new details.
Well, Tobi, thank you again so very much for your friendship and your amazing work! We love it, and YOU!
You better believe these shirts will be showing up on the blog again…being modeled by a little two year old 🙂
