So I feel like a broken record, but this winter has been absolutely, uncharacteristically snowy!
If there is one thing that a fresh layer of beautiful white snow is good for, it’s pictures. It may be a minor inconvenience, but I consider the glass to be half FULL! Because we typically do not have it at our disposal, we have maximized our snow days this year (with mini photo shoots), knowing that next year we may not see much at all.
Anyone who knows me is well aware that family photos (and documenting life in general) are extremely important to me, so here comes round #4 of snow pictures from this winter alone!
We saw snow first this year in Jackson Hole, Wyoming in early November, then we had a snow day here in Tennessee in early December, then most recently at the end of January. And then there was the snowman. And of course, you can count on me to blog it every time![]()
Yesterday we played for a few minutes at the park in our neighborhood, and the low number of photos directly corresponds with how long we were there…which was about 5 minutes! Alana’s hands got cold so we abbreviated our time outside so that she could get warm. Ironically, once we were back home, all she wanted to do was play in our backyard all evening. Ha! But Rich grabbed a few shots before we headed home, and I love them!

This time I took the self-portrait. Rich is always the one to do it, and I’m determined to get better at it. I’m proud of myself for this one![]()

Happy Saturday everyone!!!
