Our dear friend and incredible logo designer Steve Hamaker from Southside Creative Group is also the designer for Taco Mamacita, an ah-mah-zing local restaurant with unbelievably good food. Mike and Taylor Monen, owners of Taco Mamacita, needed photos of the new store they’ve opened in Nashville and we were excited when Steve approached us with the job offer. As wedding photographers, we typically don’t accept too many jobs that are unrelated, but we get pumped about local businesses and gladly took the opportunity to shoot the Chattanooga and Nashville stores.
So, last night we headed up to Nashville to photograph the new, VERY cool Taco Mamacita store. We will be blogging that on our pro blog in the next day or so, but until then, I thought I’d post a few photos from our time at the Nashville Zoo from earlier today. Rich and Steve worked last night while Shannon, Alana and I hung out and ate amazing food! Ya, not too shabby!
We spent the night in a nearby hotel and then spent all morning visiting the zoo. It was Alana’s first time at a zoo ever, and she loved it.

There was a lot of walking involved, and Alana opted to skip some of it and ride on Rich’s shoulders…
