group craziness

Okay, so a couple of months ago, we blogged about an evening with some good friends, the Moncrief’s, Hamaker’s, and Campbell’s. But as I mentioned in that blog post, the Weldon’s were not able to come. Also, our dear friends Nathan and Amber Holritz had yet to meet many of these awesome people and wanted to.

So, we decided that another get together was in order, but this time, there would not be four couples but six. And since the weather may or may not cooperate, we’d need to have it at someone’s house rather than at a park.

Shannon boldly volunteered their house and wonderful back porch, so off to the Hamaker’s we went this past Monday for some laughter, chatting, and a bit of kid-related chaos. Life is good:)

You have to know that we took a few self-portraits. Would we be ourselves if we didn’t? Is that a grammatically confused sentence?:)

FUN times. Steve and Shannon, thank you again for hosting the madness. We love hanging out and are so thankful to know you guys. Hoping for many more times with this group.

Amber wins BEST FACE in the photo below (I think her annoyed confusion is directed towards Rich, but I can’t be sure), Steve wins spookiest face since the lower portion of his face is totally shadowed, and Tobi, Brittany, Jimmy, Eric, Meg, Rich and myself win the wide-open-mouth award.

Trust me, I’m gonna think of awards for this stuff. It’s going to be good.

Thank you everyone for the fun and fellowship, and geez, for the amazing food. I brought a chocolate chip pound cake but all of these people put me to shame. I need for Corey’s gourmet skills to rub off on me.:)

Till next time, friends! We love you!
