Last year we started what we hope to be an annual Christmas tradition for our family.
Last December, after a snowy morning and some really fun photos, we headed to the Creative Discovery Museum and found ourselves at the gingerbread house workshop having loads of fun. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to go back again this year. I had fun looking at last year’s photos to see just how much Alana has changed throughout the past year.
So, this past Saturday, with a cancelled maternity photo shoot because of rainy, gloomy weather (we hope to be able to have it this week!) we headed downtown to enjoy another sugar-filled morning of family time.
Here are a few photos of our fun!

Rich spiced it up a little this time by frosting not only the gingerbread house, but also Alana’s face![]()

Sampling more of the frosting. You know, just to be sure it’s good…
Alana’s face: evidence of having had way too much fun![]()

We didn’t hang around long enough to finish decorating our house, so the sides are a little bare. Truthfully, I was the only one who was on task…the other two members of my family, as you can see from our photos, were quite distracted

Awesome times, and we are looking forward to more Christmas time fun! Happy Monday, everyone!
In other news, I went in for my 36 week ultrasound this morning and things are looking good. Sierra is average size, my fluid levels look good, and I’m 1.5 centimeters dilated. I will keep everyone posted over the next few weeks…crazy to think Sierra will be here later this month!

You guys are goofballs! So cute!
