sierra’s chambray shirt style project!

Well, I guess I’m a nerd of astronomical proportions.

Apparently I couldn’t stop at just doing a chambray shirt project for myself (which you can see here), and one for Alana (which you can see here) but suddenly it was in my head that I needed to do a toddler one as well! Why leave our favorite miniature person out of the chambray style fun?

So, enter Sierra, my precious and adorable 2 year old, who will be turning 3 later this month on December 28th! She’s SO full of life, smiles, laughter, and spunk. I adore her and we are constantly in awe of how much joy she brings to our little family.

Since Sierra is wearing almost entirely hand-me-downs from her big sis who is 3 years older, styles have changed a decent bit. I’m super practical and on a budget (but I also love kid fashion), so I started thinking of simple and inexpensive ways to update her little wardrobe without going overboard.

Suddenly last month it dawned on me. Just buy an itty bitty toddler Chambray shirt! Why hadn’t I thought of it before? I spent all of $6 on this soft and stylish chambray shirt in a size 2, and she definitely still has room to grow! And voila! Wardrobe updated with one inexpensive purchase! Almost everything else included in this project was worn by Alana 3 years ago and yet the outfit combinations are still entirely new.

So, if by now you’re thinking I’m weird, then you’re probably right. I mean, who does style projects for everyone in the family using the same type of clothing? Wait, this gives me an idea…Rich has a chambray shirt, too…

Enjoy my little sweetie pie and her style collage, and give her some love in the comments section below. I think she rocked it! She was so excited when I told her I was going to put up the photo booth. Cuteness overload, right?

Your photos are amazing and your daughter is so cute!! What kind of camera do you use? You mentioned using a photo booth..what all does that entale? Maybe you could do a special blog post about it? =)
Also, where did you get this shirt for only $6?!

I stumbled upon your site and really like your photo booth sessions, and would like to try some myself. Could you do a blog post on how you set up your photo booth? Yours looks better than a lot of others I’ve seen online.
