Thank you so very much to my amazing man for this Mother’s Day 2015 session of me and my girls. It’s all I ask for each year for Mother’s Day, and I’m always so thankful he’s willing to put forth the time and effort to document the 3 of us girls together! To me, it’s the best present ever. The girls have already begun to enjoy looking at past years’ Mother’s Day sessions, and it’s amazing to each of us how much these two change in a single year, every year!
These sessions are becoming even more fun than before, because the girls are at ages where they have opinions about where we should do our session, and they truly love exploring our city as much as I do. “Going exploring” has become a common request from these two. It always involves being somewhere in the downtown, south side, or north shore areas, finding some new fun photo locations, and always involves a stop off at some awesome local restaurant/coffee shop/bakery/chocolatier or some other type of local deliciousness.
Which brings me to how cool our city really is…and it just keeps getting better. This year I asked Rich if we could take advantage of this new flower mural at a downtown gallery, along with the worlds’ coolest polka dot wall and a fun pink cinder block wall. The girls and I had already had a blast with my iPhone taking some shots at the polka dot wall a few weeks ago, but its’ awesomeness begged for photos with the good camera too.
I was excited that this years’ session coincided with Alana’s two front teeth missing 🙂 This is an adorable stage and I’m glad we captured it before those adult teeth start to grow!
Here are many of my favorite photos from this year’s session, and I couldn’t love them more. Thank you Rich, for being so generous to me with your skillz!
