This Thanksgiving, because our family is growing and is a bit spread out, we decided to meet up in Nashville to celebrate together. So, my parents came up from Fort Lauderdale, we came up from Chattanooga, and Shawn and Sarina came down from Indiana. It was amazing to be together for several days, and the girls LOVED chasing around their little cousin all week and being with the whole family!
I am so proud of us. We have managed, for the past four consecutive years, to designate an evening for a family session. We LOVE having these annual memories documented, my mom loves to be able to send out Christmas or New Year’s cards with the whole family, and we all enjoy watching the kids grow up in these photos each year!
Last years’ session was extra special because it was Dawson’s first family photo, and this year was extra special because it was Sarina’s first time being in the photos as Shawn’s girlfriend of two years. We loved having her, and I think she enjoyed seeing the crazy first hand.
And as always, a huge thanks to my main squeeze Rich Smith for putting up with the women of the family by doing this for us!
This was my favorite group photo, despite the fact that Sierra was having a meltdown about something – I can’t remember what. But the 4 year old drama just adds to the authenticity, right? 🙂
Love these photos of the girls! Thank you, as always, Rich!
Aaaand let’s not forget the fourth annual awkward sibling photos! I love these so much it’s ridiculous.
Rich did a little pre-engagement mini shoot for Shawn and Sarina and these are a couple of my favorites 🙂
