For the past few years, we have had our annual family session in the fall. But this year, I was feeling the need for a festive, more wintry style for our Christmas cards. So when we met the owner of this gorgeous tree farm and he gave us permission to shoot here, we were thrilled.
I’m personally dying to get a good snow and go back to photograph here again. I think that evergreens in the snow are one of the most beautiful sights in the world!
The morning of our photo shoot was actually the coldest morning of the year so far, and it ended up being, ummm, not ideal for the kids. So, in between moans and tears about being cold, we snapped a few photos and cut the session short. But before we called it quits for the morning (and vowed that next year we’d shoot before the weather dropped below freezing), we did get a few photos that I love. And Rich was able to design a super cute and festive Christmas card, so it wasn’t a total loss 🙂
I LOVE my people.
